Grant Lane at FB group 1/4 ton 2024: "FYI Sweathog was originally built and raced by Phil Dufty and was originally cream and brown. We put a big rig in it with double spreaders and a big kite. The day of launching we raced and won by miles. It was a very quick boat on the wind in a breeze and we embarrassed many a larger boat in the time we sailed her. Used to have great battles with John Lasher in his Farr727 with a big rig and kite. Great memories and many litres of grog consumed by the crew of five. The boat looks really nice now. I hope it has an interior now because all we had was a bucket and wall to wall glass."

2024 Februaryn For Sale, Sweathog, 1/4-tonner from 1978 designed by Paul Whiting, same design as Magic Bus, construction is fiberglass & foam with some carbon fibre. Mast is alloy but spreaders, boom, spinnaker pole, companionway & switch panel are carbon together with some reinforcement under the cockpit.
