"Hull and Rig built locally in Victoria...Alf Neate was pretty parochial and supported local interests. I sailed this boat over several years with it's local (Mornington YC ) crew....I even brought her back to Oz from Hawaii after the '82 Clipper Cup...that's a long haul in a small racing fitted boat! She sailed out via the Sydney to Suva Yacht Race and home via Hawaii, Kiribati, Honiara, Cairns, Sydney...Melbourne! Great times..and will always appreciate the opportunities Alf created for me."
