2014 DailySail, Fazisi – Vlad Murnikov 83ft maxi sloop  Now based in the mid-West, USA. Willie Lynch writes: "Fazizi is in Chicago, owned by the Polish Sailing Association, currently getting a mini refit in preperation for this year's Chicago to Mackinac Race." 11/8/14: In Bay End Marine, Brooklyn.

2015 January, Sailing from New York to Saint Thomas British Virgin Island (12 days)
May, sailing back to New York
30 mai, il est drossé à la côte non loin de New York lors d’une tempête puis remis en état par son propriétaire, l’association polonaise de yachting d’Amérique du Nord.
End of May, Sailing Anarchy: "Fazisi’s led an interesting life since all that, most lately as a sort-of mascot for the Polish Sailing Club of New York.  She ostensibly went through some kind of refit to prepare her for the ’2015 Volvo Ocean Race’ – an event the boat apparently missed despite being in good enough shape to play in the Caribbean a couple of months ago. Whatever her plans, under skipper John Kedzierski, the Munikov design was at anchor on Saturday as a big front rolled through, and 30-knot winds (with no one on anchor watch) meant the boat is now high and dry in Brooklyn near the Gateway Marina. We’d ask ‘is this the end?’, but by now we know better.  Fazisi is destined to survive stupidity and carelessness forever, and she’ll keep looking like the odd old bird she is."

December, sailing to the Carribean

2016 May program, Dominican Republic - Jamaica - Cuba - Florida

2017 May 15, Fazisi sails from Key West, FL to Bermuda to watch the American Sailing Races
Information and picture from Fazici facebook page 2017,

Picture from "Sailing Anarchy",

Former crewmember Yury Raul bought the boat before she became scrap and is now looking at a way to put the pieces back together again.

2020 June, For Sale Fazisi, Length 83' 0" - 25.30m, Launch Year 1989, Hull Material Aluminium: This very famous boat is in trouble and needs help. Severely damaged by Hurricane Irma in the Florida Keys, this icon of the Whitbread around the World Race is destined for the scrapyard unless the owner can get help to restore her. Please see the call for help from the owner below: A call for help from Yury Raul, FAZISI new owner: "I became the owner of the yacht Fazisi. I saved her from being cut in pieces. Fazisi is the only yacht from the Soviet Union that sailed The Around the World Whitbread Race (now Volvo Ocean Race) in 1989-90 with legendary Skip Novak on board. Team was mixed nationalities from USA, Soviet Union and other countries. The legendary Fazisi does not need a detailed presentation, she is well known to sailors around the world. I am trying to raise money to save her. This Yacht is priceless piece of History and should be preserved. After hurricane Irma it was badly hurt and left in shallow waters to be scrapped. Anyone who can help, please donate. My friends and I trying to rise it from the dead, so we can take it to another spin around the world. Legend never dies....." ...
