26 June, mail and all pictures from Paul Willis: "I have owned Emerald, a Elvstrom 1/2 ton for 24 years. The  yacht was originally brought to Canada in 1974, via tanker to Quebec city, with 3 others. Hans Fogh was the agent at the time. I think it was a little ahead of its time, and combined with cheaper one design in Canada, i.e. C&C yachts, it failed to catch on. "Emerald" is the last one still sailing, and racing. I have raced on the north Atlantic, & eastern seaboard, (U.S.), and can confirm the Great lakes are as changeling and beautiful as reported"
