Automne, For Sale Whiting 32 Half-Tonner Cruiser/Racer Price: AU $34,950,
Great Division 3 club cruiser/racer - 'Magic Dragon' was designed and built
by Paul Whiting of New Zealand and is a former Australian 1/2 ton champion.
A full wardrobe of racing sails along with cruising set, a solid GRP hull and
a keel-stepped fractional rig with running backstays and checkstays. Six winches
including two primary, two deck and two runner winches. A brand new 10hp outboard
has just been fitted (2008). Electronics includes a GME VHF radio, Wagner HF
radio, Magellan GPS, Horizon Depth Sounder, VDO wind, speed and log instruments
and a Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo. Accommodation below is for four with 5' 10"
of headroom. There is a gimballed two burner methylated spirit stove, sink and
toilet. 'Magic Dragon' has just been slipped and freshly antifouled, ready for
the new season. The electrics are all in good order, with new batteries, new
fused switchboard and all wired to a charging coil in the new 10hp outboard.
There is also a new blue canopy that covers the boom and 70% of the deck area.
Safety equipment is currently Cat 4 and was previously Cat 2. 'Magic Dragon'
has an IRC rating of 0.928.
