" I remember her from my teenage
years and into my mid 20s. Raced against (and admired) her many times in Milford
Haven."

For Sale, lying in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, The Hustler SJ30 was, in
its day, a very competant half tonner from the board of a highly respected designer.
This local yacht is well known hereabouts and has many honours to her credit.
She has been competitively club raced, locally in SW Wales, for over twenty
years and has been maintained and upgraded as necessary. She benefits from recent
sails and rigging and a comprehensive sail wardrobe. Her owner has successfully
cruised her short handed, as with her swept spreaders and setting cruising sails
her runners can be dispensed with.

27 September, from Facebook, WSM RNLI Launched on Service, "Crew
were paged at 15:21Tuesday 26th September to reports of a ‘Mayday’
from a sailing vessel aground in Weston Bay. The vessel had been aground since
the early hours of Monday morning. Both Weston-super-Mare RNLI inshore lifeboats
were deployed. On arrival the owner of the vessel had abandoned ship and was
able to get back ashore safely. The boat was overwhelmed by the incoming tide
and eventually sank. Both boats stood off as they were unable to offer any assistance
and the casualty was no longer in danger.
Lifeboat Operations Manager Chris Ware confirmed ‘The
owner had gone back onboard in an attempt to refloat the boat, but unfortunately
it was overwhelmed by the incoming tide. It’s distressing and upsetting
to see a vessel sink but we are glad the casualty was able to return to the
beach safely and no one was injured’
from Facebook, "The end of 'Witch Doctor' in South
Wales (UK) don't know any maker details. Not sure how she came to be but got
caught in breakers and ended on the shore with multiple lifeboats in attendance.
Appears the hull has cracked around the stern"
