Masquerade, K 5513
à jour au: juin 2019
1978 Plan Laurent Giles, Starlight (deep keel twin-spreader variant)

1983? New owner, David Duke

2019 June, received from Alistair Duke, "My late father, David Duke, bought Masquerade K5513, a deep keel twin-spreader variant from Pocock himself who had built the boat to showcase it and then exhibited it at the Southampton boatshow, probably around 1981.  The boat was a ‘78 build and finished in French blue - the only original non-white Starlight to my knowledge.  He called it “Masquerade” because it was not quite like all the other Starlight’s.  After Pocock, my father owned the boat for the next 30yrs and sailed it in and around the waters off Whitby, North Yorkshire until his death in 2013.  Its now for sale again, still in Whitby but looking for a new home."
June, For Sale £ 9,500 (US$ 12,034) , Good Starlight 30's are few and far between, this is a good example of this popular cruiser/racer, she has been well maintained and has an extensive sail wardrobe. The trailer is not included in the price but maybe available via separate negotiation, and can be used to deliver the boat in the UK, in addition if a buyer wishes to work on the boat in situ electricity can be provided by the owner. Well worth a viewing. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
